So, I was procrastinating bored today and I happen to stumble on channel “Red” (The cable channel that televise old and new Asian movies).
So basically, I watched the Romantic Island because it was filmed on Boracay, Philippines. Yes, the romantic island it is referring to is Boracay. So I was curious why choose Boracay because when we went to Boracay, I didn’t really like it, mainly because I’m a pool person. So, I watched it ‘til the end and I can say is it’s a good chick flick. Also, it was quite funny because Bayani Agbayani’s Ocho ocho was played a couple of times in the movie.
So then, I was in the mood for Asian movies that I remembered YUI’s not-so-new single, Hello, which was the theme song for the movie adaptation of the anime/manga Paradise Kiss. Well, I have never watched/read the anime/manga of the Paradise Kiss so I can’t compare but I like the movie. Also, I really find Keiko Kitagawa cute in that movie.
So, seriously I enjoyed watching Asian movies even though both are chick flicks. Next time, I’ll be watching Confessions which I find somewhat creepy.
